The Rainbow Warrior is an attractor nymph that works so well, in spite of not looking like anything natural (even remotely), across the entire county, that it’s just downright hard to explain.

About The Rainbow Warrior
If the Rainbow Warrior was actually a human, they might not feel embarrassed wearing beer can earrings, along with non-matching excess gaudy jewelry. And they would get a date with a trout every time. Even though this attractor fly doesn’t really imitate anything natural, it just seems to work.
The RW puts into play several types of attraction at once, from its bead head made of glass, to rainbow colored dubbing for the thorax, not to mention a wrapped body of bright tinsel for the body. That’s about as gaudy a fly as you can tie, if in small sizes, and it’s a turn-on for trout like you can’t believe.
